Does anyone know if it’s possible to set up an automation or workflow that automatically adds any new board—created from a specific managed template and housed within a portfolio board—into a Gantt chart in a Workdoc?
We’d like to maintain a single Workdoc that displays one single Gantt chart with all boards (from that template) created under the portfolio board. Any tips or workarounds would be appreciated! Best wishes Selina

Welcome to the community! Can’t you create the Gantt in the portfolio board? I have to admit that I do not use the portfolio board at all as we use the Rollup Multiple Boards app and do the overall Gantt (from all project boards) from that master board.

Thanks for the suggestion to use the Gantt function within the Portfolio board. Unfortunately, from what I can see, it only provides an overall timeline. What we’re looking for is a more detailed breakdown at the task item level in a combined Gantt chart showing multiple boards. Kind regards Selina

Understood. I don’t think that is achievable with the standard Portfolio board. We are creating multiple timelines in a single item of the master board that uses filters to extract the overall timeline in the project board (like milestone1, milestone2. etc). We are using our own app Rollup Multiple Boards for that purpose.
I am interested in seeing how this is done. We have multiple boards already created and would like a rollup gantt. Can you provide any details of how this is done with MRB? We will make an attempt while doing a trial of the RMB app.
