Request to Reinstate the Monday.com Notifications App in Slack Marketplace

I’m reaching out to request that the Monday.com Notifications App be reinstated or redeveloped for the Slack App Directory.

We previously had this app installed in one of our Slack workspaces and it worked perfectly. It provided true Slack notifications, meaning it triggered an icon and alert in the sidebar whenever someone was assigned to an item or mentioned in an update. This is different from the native Monday-Slack integration, which only pushes updates into channels without triggering a real Slack notification or badge count. That makes it easy to miss critical messages.

Like many organizations, our teams operate in Slack all day. We are not always checking email or Monday.com, but we do catch everything that comes through Slack. Other tools we use, including Jira and Google Drive, send mention-based notifications directly into Slack’s app message section, which works great. Losing that functionality with Monday is a big issue for us.

We’ve tried installing the app in other Slack workspaces, but we are now blocked since it was removed from the Slack Marketplace. This is not just a short-term issue. It limits our ability to scale Monday across more teams and clients who will not be able to install it either. There is currently no way to replicate this behavior using the standard integration or within Monday’s native app.

We would really appreciate having this app brought back or rebuilt to allow direct Slack notifications for assignments and mentions. This is essential for how we work.
