I already found in a feature request someone asking about how to prevent chart labels truncating in reports, which was solved by someone suggesting adding tooltips resolves this. I don’t know what this practically means. Can anyone help me resolve the truncating labels issue pls?
Same also in Gannt views. This is really undermining the usefulness of Monday as a means to visualise and report on data. Becoming increasingly disillusuioned with migrating from our previous tool 
Hi Andy — the truncating label issue in charts usually happens when there’s not enough space to display full text. The suggested solution of adding tooltips means enabling pop-ups that show the full label when you hover over the truncated text. In Monday.com charts, you can’t fully expand labels due to layout constraints, but tooltips let users still view the complete information interactively. To enable this, make sure tooltips are turned on in your chart widget settings under Customize > Data Labels or Tooltips.
Thank you. I’m still not clear on how to implement tooltips for an item title, for example, as it would show in a Gannt view, but will keep exploring.
Unfortunately the majority of use cases for charts are to export to pdfs for regular reporting in other tools, so a tooltip doesn’t resolve it. Sounds like I’m just stuck with it.
